Members are encouraged to make regular savings, creating a pool of money from which loans may be made to other members. The income generated by lending helps us meet our operating expenses, builds our reserves to enable us to grow and pays our savers an annual dividend.

Your money is safe with York Credit Union – we are regulated by the Financial Services Authority. We are also a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Association of British Credit Unions Limited (ABCUL).
